Hi has anyone sorted out a date for the Christmas meal you mentioned a few weeks ago? I think you suggested the Alpine restaurant at the Garden Centre??

Definitely count me and Sol in for this Name the date and we'll be there. I can't work out how to link a particular post but if you look in Drifter's thread there are photos of us at the Alpine Restaurant which I took today. The food is fabulous and the dog welcome second to none.

I echo Alison's opinion wholeheartedly!! A treasure of a place on our doorstep. And I personally recommend the tarti... tartsi.,.... tart's knickers!!!
Please pencil in 2 people and several dogs for the Christmas treat.

Amanda The word you are groping for is "Tartiflette" Amanda, although I rather prefer your own version ;D The quality of food and dog-friendly weclome really is fab.

Have we got a date for this?
Sarah has said she would also like to tag along if that's okay?

Not as yet but we can discuss tomorrow. I think close to Christmas as most events seem to be booked for about 1-2nd weeks of December as long as we can book a table! Anyone can come, can't they?

Can dogs come? Otherwise we can't come but if they can we might be able to but it would depend on how Max is feeling at the time - and whether he is on 3 or 4 legs by then.

Amanda has very kindly arranged the first White Lodge Christmas Lunch at The Grange. 1.30pm on Saturday 13th December (the only available date), hounds welcome! The restaurant owner has agreed to give us a whole area to ourselves but needs definite numbers by the 19th of this month. Please reply in this thread if you'd like to be included. Click here for details of the venue. The full menu will be available along with a special Christmas one which should come up somewhere on the page if you click on the link above. Many thanks to Jojo for mooting the suggestion and to Amanda for implementing it. I'm usually very "bah, humbug" at this time of year but am really looking forward to this! ;D

Three people and two or three hounds from Quinn Towers, please!!!
Check out Drifter's thread for some pictures taken by Alison during our fact finding mission the other weekend. It is the most dog friendly place I have EVER been to and a smashing informal venue. The attached shops might be of interest for last minute Christmas gifts!!
Thoroughly recommended to all!!
Amanda and all at Quinn Towers.

Don't think we'll make it as the Meet and Greet is from 11til 3pm the same day We'll sort something out so that everything can be fitted in I'm sure. Sol refuses to miss out on either event so we'll have to find a way!

Put us down for 2 people and 2 dogs - although we may have to cancel last minute depending on "things" I tmight mean we won't make the dog walk on Sunday - we had been planning on turning up and saying hello then leaving cos Max won't be able to do the walk even by then.
