Are we planning to meet and walk or are we going for a walk and a drink anywhere? I've just spoken to Gill and I'm bringing Drifter who desperately needs a long walk and another rescue who can travel in the car with him. Look forward to meeting everyone.

I think all of the rescues will be coming to this. Me and Quinn will be taking Drifter up the hill as the two young lads get on great and Xander can't go too far, and I believe JoJo will be bringing Sam and Jill.
Should be a big one!

We'll have to miss this one. I've got a bad cold and am suffering, spending most of yesterday resting in bed, today looks the same. Hope you all have a great day and the weather stays fine. Look forwards to seeing the photos. ;D Claire

Just got back from Burrough Hill and can report that a wonderful time was had by all!! The weather was stupendous; the views awe-inspiring and the company outstanding!!
The ONLY thing that could possibly have made it better (apart from absent friends being able to join us) would have been a lovely, shiny ice cream van waiting for us in the car park on our return!!!
Lots of people seemed to be taking advantage of the weather and surroundings to take pictures and we can't wait to see them. A wonderful walk with friends, old and new. Looking forward to next year already.

I agree Amanda and Sian. Today was just perfect! The only downside was not enough wind. Not the greyhound kind, the blowy, windy kind! Neither Alison nor myself were able to have our competition to see who could coat glide the best!! ;D Other than that, I now have 3 very tired doglets. What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Nice to see some new faces today and meet their dogs. Sarah and tired muppets

Ditto to everything Siani has said, lovely to meet new people with the dogs I've got to know and love in the kennels.I moaned all the way round ,cos the ice cream van wasn't there ;D Molly and Suggs had a brilliant time , both are flat out, Molly seems to be making friends with the other dogs now they are familiar to her.The Batty old bird did have a bit of a bark we're not sure at who, could have been the stunning Suki, but apart from that was a gem sharing her bed and water bowl with lots of dogs.Suggs accepted treats from ladies and seemed to like Jazz and Ellis mum.Had a brilliant afternoon and the weather was fantastic hoping Dave will post some pics later but going to our daughters for a meal first.

Ditto to all above, also wanted to apologise for being so late - ironically i got home in no time at all, and genuinely have no idea how but it was so much better than journey there! The nice thing was that on my very weird detour to the car park, i pretty much drove all the way round the base of the hill on a dodgy country lane - and i could see you all , with silouetted greyhounds and lurchers, at the top - had i not been in quite such a rush i would have been very taken with the sight!!!
Anyway, we had a great time, can't believe the weather! One very tired Diz crashed out on one end of the sofa, one very tired Jen crashed out at the other!
See you all soon,
Jen and Diz (map readers extraordinaire!)
