I had lots of fun on Sunday, and shall be at the next one, hopefully there will be a few more dogs and we can have a nice run in the paddock afterwards.

Many thanks to everyone who came to walk the rescues this morning - they loved it! Bell is still too shy to venture out very far but she did enjoy meeting the other dogs in the car park so thank you for letting her socialise and for being so kind to her. She is waiting for her second vaccination jab and will then be going to an experienced foster home to build her confidence. Ted is still on restricted exercise while Gill is building him up so he stayed in his cosy bed and had lots of cuddles. Florence's folks, Mr & Mrs Old Blue, took Norman out on his lead - I wonder what Florence is whispering to him here? They report that he's a good boy on his lead and he, Florence, Quinn and Morty had a good run and played together in the paddock afterwards. Jen and Dizz took Misty across the fields on his lead and reported that he too is a very good boy - he walked nicely in step and didn't pull. Dizzy Giggles - half Greyhound, half bush baby! Get those beautiful big brown eyes. Siani made the most fantastic chocolate cake for us all to share afterwards and we all managed to grab a slice before Suggs's Daddy arrived! ;D

Despite the weather we had a lovely walk today, although I had soaking feet again so will have to splash out on a pair of Hunter Wellies, fab colours now though Whoops I digress, the dogs were sooo good and Florence the little visitor is an angel so cute, of course I want a Florence now ;D ;D I'm glad I got to walk Dick for his last walk with us, I did ask if I could try Bell but Gill wisely thought it might all be a bit too much for shy Bell bless her, Dave came to see her and when he picked me up I heard him' ask wheres my dog?' Jen was wearing a rather fetching retro coat ;D ;D which caused a few laughs.Siani the cake was delicious and Quin is looking fab. At the rate dogs are being rehomed I wouldn't be surprised if there's two or three more newbies by the next Paddock day.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How on earth did you manage to get this photo without me even knowing!!! I was clearly too busy laughing at Linda telling us her camera wouldn't work and blaming her innocent kids - when actually she hadn't turned it on!!! I look like an eskimo! (note to self - really must cut down on the biscuits and choc cake!) But seriously - some very kind person has donated the coat especially for poor Ted so thanks to them - i am intrigued to know if anyone ever wore it though!!! I believe i am setting a new trend and you'lll all be wearing them next season!!! Really enjoyed Sunday as always - was lovely to see Quinn again and see how well he has fitted in with his lovely new family (not surprising he looks so happy with such a good cook in the family! - I think that is why Dizzy's eyes look so big on that photo - she must have just caught sight of the magnificent choc cake!) and must back up Alison's comments re Misty -am very taken with him, he was a delight to walk and every bit as lovely as his photos suggest - come on new people - give him a home! Jen PS Linda - try and keep Dave away from the computer - if he sees that photo I will NEVER hear the end of it!!!
