I can't make it this sunday either. We're going to look at kennels in the Sleaford direction. But it would be brilliant to meet up and let them have a whizz around together soon. ;D

Thanks Sarah and Sugg's mum for volunteering Morty & Suggs. You are both very brave as I've no idea how Rudy will react!!! Hope to see those that can make it on Sunday then!! Thanks Alison for arranging this.

I should be there with Ozzy & Whistler if the weather isn't a wash out like last time! I am more than happy for Ozzy & / or Whistler to be off lead in the paddock with Rudy. Ozzy is a little softie and is usually well behaved and playful with other dogs, but Whistler can be a bit too OTT and boisterous, which is why he is always muzzled off lead. As we've only had him 3 months, in my opinion, Whistler still needs more socialising, and also learning to calm down when other dogs become excited. These kind of experiences are all good for him. ;D Hopefully see you all on Sunday! Claire

Thanks Claire. I must admit if the weather is as bad as last time I shall give it a miss, so here's hoping for some decent weather!

I wish their new family all the very best and hope they will come on walks with us, or at least keep us updated withthe latest! A big YAY!all round really............... A quote from Jen (above) in Patti's thread and something I meant to thank everyone for especially. I'd told Nicki and Patti's family yesterday on the homecheck what a friendly bunch White Lodgers are. They expressed an interest in keeping in touch here and coming on the walks. For them to arrive this morning and find so many smiling volunteers made them feel very welcome indeed. Thanks folks xx

I just love those phhotos, thanks to those that took them, some great ones of Rudy & Caleb.
I REALLY enjoyed today! The weather was fab, great walk, brilliant company and amazing to see so many dogs having fun together afterwards. I was quite nervous about Rudy, particularly without a muzzle, but he behaved well (thank goodness!). Can't wait for the next time. Thanks so much to Alison for arranging this and for Gill for letting us use the paddock.
Jiuto (our foster lad) was very quiet on the walk, but took it all in and he was so chatty on the car journey home, he said what lovely dogs they all were.

Meant to say that Nicki & Pattis' new owners seem lovely, so they are lucky dogs! Hope to see them at future walks.

We had beautiful weather for the rescue walk this morning ;D Lewis is now called Quinn and has left the building for his forever home with Amanda and Sian Dick had two visitors today, bless him. I'll be home checking for him next weekend unless anyone can get there sooner? Aron had one visitor, a lovely lady called Christine, and she has asked for him to be reserved. She's organised new garden fencing to be put in place before the end of the month so fingers crossed, Aron will be going home then. The rescue walk/paddock fun Sundays really give the dogs a chance to shine for their visitors - Dick and Aron sold themselves beautifully today, so definitely worthwhile. Many thanks to Tracie, Rosie and Sian who did all the hard work while I gossiped and took photos.
