Is the January walk still at Elvaston? If so, would someone give me an idea of whereabouts it is please.

Hi Eileen, Yes the walk is still on at Elvaston Catle on the 11th January at 2.00pm. Look at this link: www.derbyshire.gov.uk/leisure/countryside/countryside_sites/country_parks/elvaston/default.aspBasically, directions are: Elvaston Castle Country Park is located off the Borrowash Road (B5010) Elvaston. The park is well signposted off both the A6 and A52. From the M1 north bound take the A50 exit, the A6 Alvaston turn off, then follow the brown tourist signs. The address for those with Sat Nav is: Elvaston Country Park Borrowash Road Elvaston Derby DE72 3EP

We won't be there obviously! Max is still recovering from Thursday and all he had to do was stand there.

Hi hoping to come on the walk but will be dogless as I am planning to visit my relatives in Derby afterwards. I will walk any dog that's available and would be pleased to walk Sam, Nozie or Drifter if anyone is bringing them?

Drifter would be delighted to be your walk-date, Jo. He will be wearing his best PBB bandana and a big smile!!!

Just to let people know, there is a parking charge at Elvaston Castle grounds which seems to be £1.50.
Judging by the machine at Beacon Hill last week, I suggest you make sure you have change!!!

You don't need right change for car park, it is man at gate collects money. Still not sure if we are giong to make it - hope so as it's nearer for me than most of your walks, but may not be back in time: if not, have a great walk, Elvaston is lovely (tho will most likely be muddy)

Hope you've all had a great walk today. Was planning on coming, but am not feeling 100%, and being that it's so blustery and a long way, didn't feel like leaving the house! Look forwards to the photos though. Claire
