Last New Years Day we had an extra walk to blow away the cob webs.Does anyone fancy it this year? If so where would people like to go and what time suits, I think we might have had the walk earlier than the usual 2pm last year.If we get a fair bit of interest and suggestions shall we be democratic and all give a shout for our preferred venue and time and go with the majority. Can't think nothing new there then ;D how else to do it fairly.

If it was Beacon Hill we might be able to start at the top bit. Although I'm not sure if even that might be too far for Max?

I think Beacon Hill is a brill place. Has my vote. What about the lower car park at midday? Or 12.30pm? ;D Gives people time to recover from the night before then! Edited to add: if people wanted to meet us up the top, then they could use the top car park. Claire, you could park right at the end of the top car park and walk Max across. Its not far at all then and hes still close to the car so when hes tired or had too much, you can take him back

Beacon Hill is fine with us and 12.00 or 12.30 is not a problem.

I don't want to keep him hanging round. If we did make it, we would roll him out, say hello and roll him back in again! He really isn't up to standing around. I reckon that if we park as near to the top as possible then he's only got to do about 50 m each way.

Hi all,
This sounds like a great idea. Siani is away so as long as someone would be willing to take one of the Quinn Towers crew for me, we will be there.

Health warning about The Tinester!!! For those of you that don't know Tiny has had a nervous breakdown from having to go on walks by himself for the last 10 weeks and is liable to do projectile vomiting without warning. Also he is no longer the bouncy happy boy everyone knows, he is a quivering nervous wreck.
He is on diazepam, and I am gambling on him being more normal because Max will be there and he is among friends, but on a normal day now, I'm lucky if I can get him out of the front door! - You watch he'll be perfectly normal now just to make a liar of me!

Sorry to hear Tinys not coping well walking without Max Hopefully this will be a really positive experience for him then, with Max along too. Shall we make a decision on time? Is 12.30pm OK with everyone (in the lower car park). For those who are going to the top car park, if it takes us 30 mins to get there, see you around 1.00pm? Can't wait to meet all of these new hounds people have got ;D
