Hi Karen,
I haven't been to Beacon Hill before (not sure why we missed it this/last year) but yes, I believe it is the bottom car park off Beacon Road.
The website page says there is a £1.50 parking charge.
Looking forward to seeing you all especially an extra snuggly Miss Midge.
Amanda and the Quinn Towers crew.

Hi Karen,
I am Siani-free at the moment....she is spending New Year with her girlfriend and family. So it's peaceful, tidy and I can have liver for dinner without someONE making horrendous gagging noises!!!
Just be me and the hooligans at the walk tomorrow too.
See you all then,
Amanda

Hi Karen, I think the signpost for the car park will say Car Park (lower). The upper one says (Upper)! Not sure which way you're coming, but if its from the M1 way, you will come down Beacon Road and go past the first car park (Upper) until you come to a left hand turn (Breakback Road), just before you enter Woodhouse Eaves. Turn left up there and the lower car park is down the road on the left. Hope this helps. See you there. Sarah ;D

Sorry to hear you're working today Eileen. Will miss our walk and chat and seeing the gorgeous Chewie. We're still coming to the walk, but will be minus Annie. She over excerted herself yesterday on a fab new walk we've found (lots of off lead running for dogs) and she seems to have sprained her leg. Keeping an eye on it and if its no better tomorrow, she'll be off to the vets for anti-inflamatories and pain killers. Poor girl. Shes not whining with it, but won't put any weight on it when she first gets up, until shes had a chance to move it a bit. We'll see how she goes. Great new year start for her (although she really enjoyed the walk, so that probably makes up for it)

Happy New Year to one and all!!! What an AMAZING turn out for a walk organised at short notice, on a public holiday and on a day when the weather looked a little sinister. Beacon Hill looked very ethereal in the heavy frost. These frost-laden silver birches reminded me of something out of Narnia. The gathering of the clan...... Setting off..... Sue (who signs on as suzannej) and Harry (the bearded/rough collie cross something) and Bill the brindle and Woody the black boy at the back!! James being taken for a walk by Sam and Nozie. Princess Tia perfecting her pose. She is such a delicate flower and a perfect match for Suggs. She seems to be training Dave and Linda well too!! Perfect Princess Poppy still have a lot to learn in the 'posing for the camera' department but she managed the entire walk with enthusiasm to spare. She is absolutely adorable. Always lovely to see new friends and thank you to Caroline (on the left in the cap with her head down) for walking Drifter. Thanks also to Jazz and Ellis's dad for walking Quinn. Chris and the Beastly Beasts being all attentive to Linda passing out treats on the right!! Beacon Hill in winter; January 1st 2009.

Thanks for starting the picture parade and I'll add mt 10p's worth although of little a more random point & press nature!! ...going up (slowly today for some reason ) ,,,,some random top shots....... ......I'll never forget those Greyhounds in the mist....... We borrowed Mack & Jack for the walk who match Jasper & Lulu remarkably well...... It was quite unusual to see Yeti with only one hound to his name ....the long way down and then .....I don't think Lulu will need a walk this evening ;D It was great to see the new hounds out & about and of course loads of the 'usual suspects' - We hope this is the start of a very Happy 2009 for you all R&M&Jasper&Lulu
