Last time I emailed the forum I got a couple of REALLY arsey emails asking me not to spam - damned if you do, damned if you don't! I have a mailing list I write out to, I'll use that I think, it's safer.
I'd probably be fine doing the top car park walk but Matt's down for the weekend and I'm not sure if he'll want to do the 1 hour drive/40 minute walk/1 hour drive thing!

Hi all, well as predicted sadly the first few WL walks are going to clash with my weekends at work so will not see you for a while - i feel really sad as was really enjoying them and also it would have been really good for Dizzy to ,mix with other dogs as she is very wary at the moment after her attack (she suddenly has hackles that have appeared from no-where! ) and she has always been more confident around other longdogs. Never mind, the weekend walks as of April fall on my weekend off so will be back with a vengeance then! If anyone meets up for another walk or fancies seeing if WL will lend us a paddock for an hour, please let me know!!! Jen and Diz x

If anyone meets up for another walk or fancies seeing if WL will lend us a paddock for an hour, please let me know!!! Jen and Diz x We are going to WL on Fri to "interview" them for putting the boys in kennels at Easter - although I don't know why I do it because it makes me feel sick leaving them and I phone up at least twice a day. I'll ask about paddock running then but they might not want to cos they don't really get anything out of it. Let us know if you want to go for a walk. We went to Elvaston last weekend and it didn't take nearly as long as I thought to get there.

I took Suggs to WL when Jill just moved in ,she gave me her mobile number and said to call her whenever I wanted to use the Paddock again,I never have as he started going off lead at Watermead although I did text her to say thanks and how it had really helped to do some re-call training properly brought up me ;D, but since he's turned into an adolescent I don't let him off so much, can't rely on him.Wondering if the invite still stands

Sol's friend Flossie is competing in working trials this week and if she qualifies for the final (which will be on Sunday) we'll be there rather than on the walk this time. First one we'll ever have missed I think. Flossie did qualify (and it looks like she'll win the championship) so I won't be on the WL walk this time. I'll miss meeting up with you all so much Please take lots of pics. Gill, new White Lodge lady, is planning to come with one of her golden retrievers though. I know that you'll all make her feel very welcome.

Flossie did qualify (and it looks like she'll win the championship) so I won't be on the WL walk this time. Best of luck Flossie! Working trials are the top level of all the disciplines combined so every credit to Sol's friend for even having the ability to compete.

If the weather is as awful as it has predicted tomorrow, then we wont be there. We went to Beacon Hill today and Henry who has been here a week was quite shell shocked by it all but did enjoy it too! I found out yesterday with the non stop rain he absolutely hates the rain with a passion. He was terrified of the golfing umbrella as I was walking all 4 and was trying to keep us all dry! Mind you it was so windy I nearly did a Mary Poppins!

Yes, i imagine Dave is rubbing his hands together when myself and Alison are not there, no-one to keep him in check! At least now you have Mol he won't be eyeing up everyone else's bitches! I really can't wait to see her, I'm glad you had a good walk, weather has been pretty hideous today so i hope no-one was blown off course! Our dogs are quite flimsy!

Really enjoyed the walk today, although it was cold, especially at the top! Caleb & Rudy obviously had a good time too as they are both now crashed out on the sofa! Good to meet Harley and his mum & dad and border collies owner (sorry don't know names). This was their first time on the walk I believe.

Sorry I didn't get there. Matt was studying for his Uni course (he's back on Wednesday) and I am not confident handling my 3 alone at the moment. Did anyone take photos?

Really enjoyed the walk and it was great seeing some new faces and dogs ;D I don't know if photos were taken as it was so blustery. At least the rain stayed off (I went in full waterproof gear, so it was bound not to rain - lol) . Sorry you weren't there Jen. I think Katie with Sky got the full brunt of Daves comments, but I'm sure she gave as good as she got!! We were talking about having another walk in the next couple of weeks, possibly up at Elvaston Castle. Start a new thread about it and give us some days when you're free. ;D My lot are very sleepy after their walk.
