Lovely pics, looks like a good time was had by all and I'm pleased the sun shone for you. Glad all the shy dogs are becoming more confident and the naughty ones less so Suggs, Miss Giggles and Violet look in so much better condition since they've been living in their new homes. Great to see Dalby going home to his new family too

Looks like i missed out..... good turn out.... We were planning on coming... after our Cani-cross event.... running (yuk) with Skye. We came 2nd in our class (probably only two people ran in it!) And raised £309 in sponsership... not a bad days work. But we got home 1ish and i was knackered... Skye was fine!! I think in previous lives i was a greyhound (coach potato) and Skye was super fit athlete. Looking forward to next months walk.

Lovely pics everyone. Kate & Syke - great excuse for not being there! Well done to you both.
Sorry I didn't actually walk with you today - as a few of you know, I have some health problems at the moment. Matt apologises to being anti-social, too - I'd not warned him how many people can turn up on our walks and I think he was a bit overwhelmed by it all! Great to see you all though.
I don't have an idea of timescales at the moment but I may be out of the loop for 2/3 months soon - surgery and recovery time - can you guys democratically sort out the walks between you? Feel free to cross post them on rescue/sighthound forums, too.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. As you said an end of an era :'(just Lester to find his forever home.I only heard about WL by a chance conversation in a shop ,I'm so glad I did.We got our lovely Suggs and met some of the nicest, craziest people. ;DI just wish you could have got to see the real Suggs underneath that Spooky facade. He is truly an absolute loon ,so playful, boisterous and a bit naughty. When our computer is fixed (we can't download/upload it switches off) I'm going to make a video of his 'MADNESS' i'm sure no one including the family believe me.Good job Matt was a bit overwhelmed 'cos if he'd heard some of the post walk conversations he might have ran for the hills! :oThanks for every thing Claire l Love from Linda.Dave and Suggsy Mallone

i really enjoyed meeting you all and seeing claire and sarah again. it's kinda weird how this forum makes little celebrities of our dogs. i felt like reaching for my autograph book every time i met a dog i felt i already knew from the forum. thank you dave, for giving vi such a warm welcome when she was a bit spooked. she loved you too but... we love her more ;D really good photos all. much better than mine. i like the group ones i've got: but i also took some pick of the spotty snowflake babes which just make vi look like a right wimp . morty and vi daisy and vi she's not usually as unsociable, and we have been tlc-ing her (honest), it's just that bad experience staying with her . i really think the walk was good therapy for her, and more of the same will boost her confidence. She certainly enjoyed the treats in the carpark at the end! looking forward to the next one and if we're around, i'll try to bring andi with me. suzanne

Lovely photos there, group ones and the snowflake hounds are especially good. Mine 3 or 4 still on camera, will sort out when I get 10 mins. was a lovely break from the usual hard slog! Bess & Millie were fast asleep on the way home ;D Nice break for Bess (and for Millie & me), too, from her ever increasing collection of phobias Sorry didn't have an opportunity to catch up, Claire, or to say hello to Matt; hope all goes well with the op and recovery, and you're back up to speed before too long.

Ditto to all the above positive comments re the walk and lovely dogs and people! It was our first and we really enjoyed it (despite the ridiculous 2 hour journey to get there, oh how i love roadworks and Donny Park events!) I'm sorry if we didn;t talk to everyone but i recognized more dogs than people from the photos so was a bit difficult! Dizzy loved her reunion with the gang though (Sol, Suggs and Jess!) and she was pretty tiered when we got home! In fact she was fast asleep in the car the whole way home! All you guys and your (mostly!) obedient dogs must have had a good effect because that night she came and spent the evening with me in the lounge for the first time since i have had her! I didn't dare move off the sofa in case she went back to her other bed - as a result my pizza was well and truly burnt in the oven but it was worth it!!! Really nice to see you all again, and to meet new bods - hope to see you all again soon!!! Jen and Dizzy PS - Dave - keep your hands off Diz - she's mine, all mine!!! Claire no 1- have PM'd you

i think that on the next walk i may be allowed to go on the course with you all if i behave myself and dont try and pinch other peoples dogs (vi and diz ) .suggs was supposed to be my dog and go away with me some weekends to the antique fairs that i stand at. linda cast a spell on him and he adores her and not me. i have now decided that it wouldnt be right to come on the walks without a pet so i am bringing a chicken disguised as a greyhound, will have to have a special collar made for him and teach him to bark instead of cock a doodeling,im going to call him chow mein so look out for him on the next walk.i think all of you are a great bunch of people and if i ever saw any of you in a pub i would love you to by me a drink.have to go now so linda wont catch me on here. see you all soon dave.
