This will take place on Sunday August 9th. Ellis and Jazz's family live right on the water's edge at Watrmead South. Following is a quote from an e-mail that Kez sent to me giving directions and details of what we need to do in terms of food etc.

What a generous offer from Kerry and Conrad! I should be there with Ozzy and Whistler, and will bring a cold pasta salad dish for sharing. ;D Claire

We are hoping to get to the beginning of the walk but not actually walk because Max is in a bit of a bad way at the mo - hopefully a week of rest will perk him up, but won't risk the walk - also I have to be at Ragdale at 3! Tiny says he is looking forward to seeing his three favourite girls - Midgeymoo, Jess and Tia - and please ladies no squabbling over him there's enough of him to go around! (Honestly that's what he said!) Edited to add - good job I read this or I'd have gone to the Woolly Mammoth car park which is where I expected it to be!

All of us at Quinn Towers are really looking forward to this..... and I am planning to sacrifice Tegan to the rain gods to ensure decent weather, if necessary!!!
Kerry & Conrad & family... you're all complete stars for allowing us to invade you. Thank you VERY much!!!
We're planning on bringing a rice salad for sharing and some sort of pud (I know Dave.....special request for cheesecake!!!!). Hopefully we can arrange a good, varied spread between us all.
Is there anyone who can offer a car seat to Tracey? If you don't mind squatting on the roof rack Trace.......

That's a brilliant idea Amanda Would anyone else like to volunteer to bring a dish, e.g. salad, coleslaw, potato salad, pasta, dips, dessert or whatever? If you could post in this thread that would be really useful. It might be a good idea if one or two of us bring a disposable barbie along too, just in case there isn't enough room on Kerry and Conrad's. Trace, I'm more than happy to pick you up/drop you back but there's not enough room in my car for Jess and Lester unfortunately Let me know.

Hi all sorry we can't make it - we are going to my Shrewsbury for lunch at my brother's house. I had forgotten that the lunch is on the same day as the walk. Enjoy yourselves and hope to see you on the next one. Sacrificing Tegan sounds fun!!!

Hope to be there but our youngest son has Swine Flu.He's moaning 'cos he doesn't get paid for sick. He's not too bad. Also a friend at work has it so don't rate my chances. If neither of us have succumbed we hope to make it.

I'm so disapppointed to miss this one, but we will be on holiday. Adam will be there as he enjoys the walks but will also be collecting his sponsor money if that's okay as his skydive is next month. He says he is happy to walk a dog or 2.

Have to cross us off the list too - Max is back on bed rest, he's having an xray tomorrow and was described by the vet as "hopping lame" last night so you can imagine what he's like.

Poor Max, just when it all seemed to be going right for him and he appeared to be on the mend. Please give both of your muppets a cuddle from me and my lot x
