Anyone going to the Gap show on Sunday? I would have loved to but Dave wants to finish the garden and a whole day at shows isn't really his or Suggs thing.Maybe its just as well they have an oldie Jony looking for a home and some lovely young bitches. ;D

Hi, just wondering about this:
Class 12: RGT RETIRED GREYHOUND OF THE YEAR - representatives from RGT branches nationwide. To qualify, the greyhound must have been rehomed by an RGT branch registered with the RGT no later than 30th June 2009. Just one entry from each branch – either qualified from their own branch or regional Best in Shows, or through nomination process at local level.
Who is going to be the White Lodge hound? As only one greyhound rehomed from the branch can enter. We could do a vote!

No idea,as far as i know no one has either thought about it or said anything about entering a white lodge dog and the entry form has to be sent to head office before 5th september.

They have to qualify for this either by winning a regional best in show, the rgt retired dog class at your own show if you have one or by white lodge vote and they have to attend the great greyhound gathering. Will have to talk to gill, alison etc about it.
Yes i have one in mind as well ;D

I don't know much about many of the Greyhounds who've been rehomed through White Lodge, but I feel that whichever dog is chosen, should be the one who has come on the most, one with a sad past for example. Good luck in choosing! ;D Claire

I suppose the obvious candidate is Ted, if his folks want to go to GGG. Or any of the babies. They are all so big and gorgeous now!

The thing is you can't just name a dog to go,it's got to be done properly and fairly.I am in conflab with alison about it so watch this space.
