I think the Midlands RGT do this one; historically they bagged it before we did, way back when it was in Loughborough.
It's worth checking with Amanda at HQ before booking big events as there is a 'gentlemans agreement' that branches don't both attend the same show, although now it's in Melton it makes sense WL get it.

Theres a rainbows charity event on at watermead country park on sunday 6th july and i think we are now going to do that instead.

Count us in for support.... Last year Skye came 2nd in most hansome dog... although the judge (Major of Leicester) thought he was a girl!!!!!!!

I don't think they're doing the County Show this year. When I rang to talk to the organisers they had said the Newark branch hadn't booked their place this year. Crufts also had a few RGT stands there this year.

I'm happy to help too (if someone can tell me where Watermead Park is!).
When I worked for United Biscuits we ran a stall for Macmillan Nurses at the Ashby Show every year. We were always given a good pitch at a reduced price and all our helpers were allowed in free.

It was avery wet and thundery day and if I remember correctly there was a certain young boy who kept nicking the profits in the form of pigs ears ;D!!
