I'm late with this one, as its this Sunday Where does the time go? OK. Its the last one for this year and will be inside (unless its a glorious day!) in the training hall. The venue is Tomlinsons Kennels at Markfield and the time is 2.30 - 5.30pm. Cost is £15 per dog. It is all very safe and lots of fun. Refreshments provided. Jill has promised me that she has another trainer to help her with the agility this time, so Mortimer will be taking part this Sunday (hes hoping to see his latest girlie there - Rosie! ). If you just want to come and watch, thats fine too. Its good to see everyone and a good opportunity to socialise scaredy dogs.

Rosie and Kai went along. Part of the reason was to see how Rosie got on in a more dynamic environment with dogs running and barking. We had a great time and I learned a few things today and had a wolfhound fix ;D. Kai wasn't too keen on the indoor sessions - a bit noisy for him - though he did all the exercises. Outside he was better and definitely enjoyed it more. Rosie on the other hand thought it was all brilliant and was a star in every sense. She behaved herself impeccably; watched intently when Mortimer and Sky did their runs over and through the equipment - jumps, tunnels, etc. and when it was her turn did everything she was asked and obviously enjoyed herself immensely - it's possible she's done agility before; she's definitely doing it again. Rosie jumping through hoops Thank you to Sarah for making us aware of this - shame this was the last one of the year - and for taking the pics (it's really difficult 'cos it all happens rather quickly), Sarah and Kate for holding a hound while I had the other one on the course and to the very very nice ladies that showed us (the dogs and me) what to do. Highly recommended way to spend an afternoon.

Rosie was such a star and boy can that girl jump! Nothing seemed to faze her and her tail never stopped wagging. I have a couple of photos (apols for the blurry one of Rosie, but she was too quick for me). ;D Rosie jumping outside Beautiful Skye (again apols for the blur) Morty (thanks Chris) The gang resting Beautiful Rosie and her gorgeous Bro Kai Rosie watching the others having a go Glad you enjoyed it Chris, sorry it wasn't more Kais cup of tea, but atleast Rosie had a fab time. I think Kai enjoyed his blast around the field with Morty and Skye afterwards ;D

Great photo's Sarah; glad the one of Morty came out. Taking pics at agility is a true art - everything happens so quickly.
Kai definitely enjoyed his blast around the field with Morty and Skye.
Rosie just astounded me. Like I said before, it's possible she's done it before (though knowing what lilttle I do about her past life I doubt it), but what ever, she took to it like a duck to water and loved every minute.
