If you can somehow make the newsletter available online and downloadable, I’m happy to do some printing/photocopying and posting.
No further suggestions for the walks – I've really enjoyed all these (although I hear tell of deer tick problems in Bradgate Park lately).
Do you think there might be any currency in starting the November, December and January walks an hour earlier so that it's still light enough for a 15-20 minute dog treat, photo and social session afterwards?

Thanks for the printing offers. Dang, now I need to do something, don't I? 'Specially now you have the technology - or should I ask how the download went before making assumptions? ;D As I mentioned on the phone , if you need help on the IT side just ask.

Outwoods woodland walk is good. You have a choice of a short walk approx 20 minutes or a longer one about 1hr plenty free car parking, water bowl for dogs and it isnt far - just past Woodhouse Eaves and along Breakback Rd.

Must say I like the idea of Outwoods, someone mentioned it before. Not too far from us, yet never been there!

I think we can only do Outwoods out of busy season - when we get a good turnout we can generate as many as 30 cars, it doesn't sound like Outwoods would cope with that (although I've still not been there so I may be wrong).

Indeed, 30 cars is a lot of that car park although WL walkers could double park and not annoy each other There is also a nice walk from Quorn car park. Requires a bit of road walking and styles (with dog 'crawl unders' that Jasper hates to use !). Takes you along the River Soar and also the canal. There are open fields for those who can let their dogs run but you need to be careful about the livestock that is usually about (Lots of nice dog pizza on the groud - Yummy yummy). Anyway, to get to the good bit, the 'Navigation' is about half way and you can have a pint outside on the grass with your dog - the food there is usually OK too. It's a circular route that you can take your time with and when I buy a map of the walk, I'll let you know how long (I reckon 2.5 - 3 miles). Probably not suitable for a complete WL walk (it's a v busy car park) but a nice summer stroll
