...... and there are those of us who always walk on a lead as given the opportunity we'd start running and never stop!!!!!!!!!!!!! (See profile of a happy retiree on the left!! Watermead is always a good venue and flat as a pancake (none of those nasty hill thingys to climb up ). Great place to 'meet & greet' as there is lots of space so ideal to wander round and meet one and all. I hope to be there and perhaps we'll go further with limping Lulu than we did at Melton We can live with the cool temps but keep ther rain away ;D ;D ;D Are greyhounds natural Tories or true to their labour roots or perhaps even lib dem or UKIP.............enquiring minds want to know Lots to talk about on Sunday

We are hoping to come for a small walk with Sam, he has to go vets everyday to have his dressing changed (see my thread) so we hope to see you all.

Hi my name is Sue and I am new to this sight I am the very proud owner of Alice she is a 7 month old Lurcher x collie girl and i was wondering if we may be able to join you on your walks she is a bit shy and can be a bit snappy when scared but feel I need to sosialize her she starts dog training next week and has been to see my sisters dog this evening went quite well . many thanks sue Nuneaton Hi Sue, As soon as I saw the name Alice I knew it was you. Don't think we will be there, have lots to do in the house and Poppy really does need a good off lead run. Hope you all have a great walk, at least the weather is better than yesterday!

Simon & Evie I do believe Evie took one look at the gathered clan and thought 'aint life great!!' ;D ;D We look forward to seeing you on many more walks That was Lulus's longest walk for months. We couldnt make this walk, really disapointed about it. We had family stuff to do up in Glossop near Manchester. Hope you all had a really good time, looks like the weather was good for you. Looking forward to the photos.

Well we did get there ! - arrived 20 mins late as got lost , then parked at first car park, almost got to Lilly pond car park and told my daughter i dont remember locking the car! So we walked back and I hadnt so was just aswell. Saw Jasper and friends who were finishing their walk, so we carried on (my 3 and daughters 2 collies and had a lovely walk.) Sue

We all really enjoyed the walk today, we like Watermead because its nearly all level. Sam did well but has been flat out since getting home only getting up a stroll down the garden and his dinner .
Looking forward to next months walk
