12th - 14th August :
KC International Agility Festival, Kelmarsh Hall, Kelmarsh, Northants, NN6 9LY. Judging of classes starts at 8.30am each day. This is a huge show, with lots of dog stalls etc and very good to go and watch some brilliant dogs doing agility) - Izzy and myself will NOT be competing here (this year lol), but we will be going along to watch and shop! I think the carparking is £5 but thats all you need to pay - if there is a car load of you, then it will be £5 between you. Link:
20th - 21st August:
Agility Nuts, Park Land Stables, Ruddington, Nr Nottingham NG11 6LJ. This is a non KC show and very friendly. Izzy and myself do compete here, so come down and watch us if you fancy lol!
27th - 29th August:
EMDAC BAA Finals, Asfordby Amateurs Sports Club, Hoby Road, Asfordby, Melton, LE14 3TL
This is a non KC show too and is a nice and friendly show. This weekend are the finals, so the competition is only on in the mornings and then the finals are in the afternoon. Usually a good day to be had. Izzy and myself will be there on the Saturday and possibly Sunday and Monday if she qualifies for any of the finals
2nd - 3rd September:
Chatsworth Open Agility Show, Chatsworth House, Nr Bakewell, Derbys, DE45 1PP.
This takes place alongsede Chatswrorth Country Fair and is usually a really good day out with lots of things to see and do - lots of trade stands too. Show opens at 8.30am.
10th - 11th September:
Agility Nuts KC Show, Holme Farm, Swinderby Road, Collingham, Newark, NG23 7NZ
Izzy and myself will be competing at this one and it should be a nice friendly club again. First time at this venue, so not sure whether there will be trade stands there or not.
17th - 18th September:
Capable Canines at Catton Hall, Catton, Walton on Trent, Derbys, DE12 8LN
A lovely venue and a very friendly club. We won't be there, as our own club has its first agility show for a few years, so I'll be judging and competing with Izzy at this one.
17th September:
Harlequin Agility Club, Tomlinsons Kemmels, Markfield Lane, Markfield, Leics. LE67 9RJ
Our very own club is hosting its first agility show in a number of years for Harlequin members only. However anyone is very welcome to come along and watch and we're also collecting items for East Midlands Dog Rescue (as some of you know, its a rescue very close to my heart, as this is where I had Izzy from, and Lucy my Cairn and gone but never forgotten Amy my old Lurcher). All proceeds from this show will go to EMDR, and any donations of clothes, bedding, dog items, items that can be sold in EMDR's charity shop in Earl Shilton or any tombola items will be gratefully received by EMDR.
24th - 25th September:
Dog Vegas, Bakewell Showground, Agricultural Way, Bakewell, DE45 1AQ
Usually a great show, at a lovely venue. Izzy and myself will be camping at this show!
