Oh wow Jo....you are a total and complete star!!! An overlocker would be the most amazing thing!!!
Unless I hear differently before then, we'll be dropping by on Sunday morning. Sian has to have her 'fix' and hopefully Irene would like to see Drifter again. Jill will still be there and Sam and Cassie and maybe Ted and Nozie if they haven't gone 'home' by then so there will be lots of boys and girls for you to lavish attention on!!
It would be great to see you then and maybe we can sneak off for a coffee afterwards?

;D I am sorting through for you and will drop things off at white lodge. Are towels / duvet covers any good?

Thank you Mandy, that's very kind of you. I'm sure towels and covers will be very useful.
We plan to drop by WL on Sunday morning or there's a box in (I think) the grooming room for you to leave things. Thank you once again!!

What time will you go to WL - I was thinking about 11am? I'd love to have a chat and a coffee as well as spoil the hounds.

Hi Jo....
assuming I can drag Sian out of bed....we are usually there around 10.15..... they're supposed to close at 11 on the weekends but if it's anything like last Sunday where we had 3 couples to see dogs.... !!!!!
So if you can aim a little earlier that would be wonderful then we can go and have coffee and cake at the Alpine, yes?

A big THANK YOU to everyone who has donated fabric and duvets so far. It's very kind of you all to take the time to look things out then drop them off at WL.
I am still sewing and still need fabrics and (especially) duvets and items with large zips like jackets or sleeping bags. So if you find anything please PM me so I can arrange to collect it or leave it at WL. As the temperatures plummet and snow is forecast, the dogs will be very grateful!!

Collected for you today from my dance teacher a 12 " diameter reel of black velcro - only 3/4" wide but I'm sure you can make use of it? Also have all the older! dancers sorting out old towels, fabrics and fleeces etc. for the rescues. I'll drop them off to you when we meet up for the Christmas lunch.

Oh my Jo!! Yet again you are a star!!! Velcro is SO expensive and that reel will go a very long way. Maybe one of your dancers would be interested in a lovely doggy companion.... ?? You'll have to take one of Alison's posters to pin up. See you at the lunch and thank you, once again Amanda

Hi Jo and all!!! Sian has insisted I have my own sign-in so this is ME!!! We should be going past some time over the weekend, Jo, so that will be great. Do we have a dog with enough 'attitude' at the moment? Nozie, maybe? ?? Any chance you're going near Leicester market at some time? A BIG Thank You to everyone who donated items to make bedding and coats for the rescues. Keep your eyes open when you go to WL, you never know what you will spot!! If you have anything else, especially with zips, duvets, fleece or similar then I can assure you that I can make use of it and the dogs will appreciate it. Please leave it at WL or pm me and we'll arrange a time for me to collect. Amanda

Was in Leicester today what a pity. I'll be going again in the next 2 weeks so just let me know what you want. Have put in the bag an old khaki parka belonging to Sophia which has a furry hood and a quilted lining - it will make an ideal dog coat I'm sure. See you at WL this weekend.

Amanda, What do you want from Leicester Market? I work in the city centre, and could pop there one lunch if you tell me what you need and where the stall is? ;D Remember, I'm no seamstress, so the more detail you give me the better! I'm popping to WL on Sunday morning to collect some dog food, so could drop off anything you want then. Claire

Thank you Claire, that is very handy to know and very kind of you to offer. I have some new donations to collect so when I have seen them and chatted with Gill about what items she now needs you may find yourself with a little shopping list!! Nothing too technical, I promise.
Hugs and woofs to Oz and Whistler!!

Not had chance to examine the fabric in any detail but the eccentric foreign diplomat who donated Ted's famous goat skin has given me a lot of what appears to be very heavy duty velvet plus some other stuff for you.
I'll bring it to White Lodge on Saturday morning along with the things that Sol's Dad has asked me to put in the Quinn Towers box.
