Hoping to attend the outwoods walk tomorrow. Would anyone be interested in a nearly new dog crate one bar slightly damaged and mended due to an early Florence escap-ade? Offers around 5 to 10 pounds or free to a good cause. It is medium lurcher-size. old blue

The sun shone on us again today and we enjoyed a great walk at The Outwoods. Thank you all for such fantastic company, great to see both familiar faces and some new ones and really missed everyone who couldn't make it this time. Particular thanks to those who helped with the map reading. We decided to take the long circuit (1.8 miles) and I hadn't a clue where we were any time we arrived at a path divergence/junction thingy (there should be a "nerd" emoticon available on this forum - I'd use it a lot!) Sol's malign influence at work here on the lovely Blue I'm sure - just clock that regal pose! They were doing an awful lot of secret whispering together in the woods. A word to the wise, Abbie and Kate: nip this nonsense in the bud. Take it from one who didn't and wishes she had Brenda getting mugged for treats - all the usual suspects, naturally...............plus new girl Lulu lurking in hope of some missed leftovers. Switched on or what?! ;D Popeye wearing his ear at a rather stylish jaunty angle. It was lovely to see him looking so fit and well today after his recent health problems The gorgeous Betty, friend of and matching bookend to Lord Jasper and first time WL WalkerKate, Blue and SolMr & Mrs Old Blue with Florence and PopeyeShiny beautiful Tiny Alistair ran the half marathon before coming to The Outwoods in the fantastic time of 1 hour 54 minutes! Claire delivered emergency rations of Sol's favourite Crab Cruncher biscuits in record time too - many thanks for going out of your way to do that for us Claire.Kate, Sol, Buddy, Lola and Phil shooting the breezeBetty's Mum, Mary, plus an assortment of hounds and humansTrying to get everyone in the frame and failing miserably. The paths are too narrow and I'm no good at taking photos! Those Bookends again

Looks like you had a good time. We were at the Gap Show in Walsall - the first time in two years it didn't rain for the show.
Rosie got 3rd in prettiest bitch - our only rosette of the day, but we did raise a few squids for Gap.
I hope we'll be at the next walk. We'll have just got back from Swallows Dance the night before, so if we don't make it's 'coz we're cream crackered.

Looks like it was a smashing walk!!
We had every intention of going but with Sian just starting college and having to do homework and me just getting organised at my work the day ran away from us and it was too late before we knew where we were. Pity, as the weather finally smiled on us all today and we were stuck at our various desks.
Sian is also desperate to see the new arrivals. Fabulous pictures, Alison and it looks like Tracie is turning into a right David Bailey!! Hope to see you all soon,
Amanda, Sian, Quinn and Xander

Doesn't Blue look grown up You wouldn't say that if you saw him now: asleep on the sofa cuddling a teddy bear! I was pretty tired yesterday, but I didn't realise quote how much it showed: I look half asleep on those photos! I think you're right, Alison - I've never seen Blue pose like that before! Definitely Sol's doing. It was great to be surrounded by so many lovely people and hounds - hope we can make the next one too.
