Foxy is a 6 year old ex-racing boy. He is neutered and vaccinated. Here he is with his kennel mate Suki (Foxy is the brindle lad on the right).

Amanda, loving handmaiden to Quinn: I don't like to be pedantic, but is Foxy a boy? I could swear I can see an 'ahem'!!

OMG OMG OMG. If anyone spots me on this page again, you have my permission to ban me!! I don't need to look at any more brindle greyhounds thank you very much. 7 dogs in one house is more than enough for now!!

We went to see him today, and I was like 'Yup, definately a boy. Alison is crazy!'
He is so lovely, very calm when being stroked, he's a bit manic in the paddock though, I suppose that's because he's never been allowed to run around like that before.
He is quite small and compact, with the cutest little face. I would have him, but mum is so set on having Suki.

Foxy was such a laid back boy at Tracie's meet and greet today and captured rather a lot of hearts Hopefully he won't be waiting long for his forever home.

Sunday after the walk we will be taking him for a trial, because he gets on perfectly with Quinn in the paddock, and in the kennel block, but we still need to try them out together in the house. They will be a beautiful pair, lovely contrasting colours. *soexcitedsoexcited*

Sunday evening of Foxy's trial with us. So far so good...... no problems between him and Quinn; they trotted between each other's food and water bowls quite happily and have been snoozing on any dog bed they wanted. Out for a walk they were beautifully behaved and attracted a lot of local attention!!
I suspect the crunch time will be overnight but so far, it's all looking lovely.

Oh, and he wasn't too foody, he just sniffed at ours, then went and laid down after the second NO!, quicker than Quinn did on his first meal. I suspect I shall be allowed to keep him.

We had a slight problem last night, a bit of wailing from Xander straight after we went to bed and last night at about 1am (yes, I have already renamed him) and a bit of winging at about 8am this morning, but as far as I can tell, nothing inbetween. I'm sure he will get used to being here and the wailing will stop. Apart from that, someone got in the bin, but I can't blame either of them, because Quinn has done is before, and Xand is very foody. Lucky boys can just blame each other! He is a very lovely, cuddly dog, and will play with Quinn for a bit (not for a very long time but still, quinn has someone to play with for at least a bit) in the garden or in the house. Quinn even tolerates him shaking ginger! Breakfast this morning went well, Quinn got fed first, Xand tried to start to, I gave him a big 'NO!' and he trotted back with me over to his bowl for his breakfast. Now they are both chilling out in their beds watching GMTV.
