Hi are the walks going to be the same as 2012, the next one being Elvaston castle. Also looking for brave volunteers with calm dogs who would walk along side us for part of the first couple of walks we come to this year, just to get Barty used to different dogs. I think once we get walking he'll be fine but he might be a bit shouty and excitable initially. He really is harmless honestly.

Yep, same pattern as in previous years with the next one (this Sunday, 13th January) being at Elvaston Castle. Sorry for not replying sooner! The schedule for all the 2013 Walks should be at the top of this section now with details and directions for Elvaston Castle below: January 13th 2013 at Elvaston Castle - we'll be setting off from the car park at 2pm as usual. The park is well signposted from both the A6 and A52. Elvaston Castle Country Park is located off the Borrowash Road (B5010) Elvaston. From the M1 northbound take the A50 exit, the A6 Alvaston (yes, Alvaston, not Elvaston) turn off, then follow the brown tourist signs. Address - Borrowash Road, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE72 3EPThe car park charge last year was £1.50 per vehicle and ensuring that you have the correct change makes life easier! I don't think we'll be there, Tiny's not been well since his jabs on Tuesday and I don't want him getting cold.

We're not coming, Tiny is limping. Elvaston Road is apparently closed.

Nice walk the weather was kind to us considering what we were expecting, and as usual we all had forty winks when we got home. Sam is still flat out so I think he's had 120 winks. See you on the next walk.
