Hi everyone, I have found through another animal charity that I support a way of recycling used inkjet printer cartridges and mobile phones in exchange for money for our nominated charity WL. The way it works is that you initially send me your name and address and I send out to you two envelopes for you to fill with your cartridges, phones. Then you seal the envelope and post it back to the Recycle4charity office (post already paid by Freepost). They then credit WL with up to £1.00 per cartridge and up to £30.00 per phone ;D. When you return your filled envelope you have the opportunity to request more Freepost envelopes and so the recycling continues. I know the money does not sound a lot but if we all manage to fill an envelope then it will start to mount up. You could also ask your friends and work colleagues if they could save the cartridges for you. Send me a post and tell me if you think this is worth me organising? Extra money for the rescues is always useful

I agree, anyway that extra cash can be earned is worth while.
I do have a couple of mobile phones you could start off with (they are quite old though so not sure you would get a lot for them) and we would be happy to send off any printer cartridges from home and I will ask at work too.
