Yes it is that time again melton country park sunday 11 april, ready to go for 2 o`clock, nice cafe for coffee cakes and ice cream, to those who have not been before it is in the middle of a housing estate so dont think that your sat nav has packed up,lol as you come thru melton head for the cattle market and turn up scalford road,(kfc +new pet store) go up the hill and take wymondham way on your right, ( about the 7th turn) follow that until the end and you are there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LE13 1HP, JUST IN CASE I am working again so you will be stuck with martin,lol karen

Hi, Sam, Bloss and I would love to go but its Mumsies 73rd birthday Monday so out for lunch.

We won';t be there either today, our lovely Birman cat Misty died in his sleep during the night He had a tumour. I am so upset that I just can't face seeing anyone today. Hope the walk goes well, looks like the weather will be good! x

We wont be there, have a riding lesson booked at half 12 for an hour, have not been able to make many walks this year. Will hopefully be able to make one very soon. Enjoy the walk. Sue,Harry,Woody and Ollie x

Thanks Claire and Tracy, that means a lot. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. We have now buried Misty in a nice sheltered spot in the garden and planted 2 miniature rose bushes and some daffodils.

I'm so sorry to hear your sad news Bren (Les, Rachael, Adam and Ji too) I lost my own cat 13 years ago and his photo still has pride of place on my bedside cabinet. I miss him tremendously.

Thanks Alison. We do have 3 other cats but each one is special and Misty was very vocal, so his presence will really be missed.
I hope the walk went well today, you had good weather!
