This sounds good, will try & help.
The weather really is awful isn't it? I can't believe there is so much rain in July! Hope it brightens up for our holiday to Dumpledale next month.

I know Brenda... I was sitting here on Monday drawing up plans for an ark!!! Remember the 'barbeque summer' the weather boffins promised us in May? June, July and August would see "record highs"...? Has your bbq actually been OUT of the shed? I thought that their climb down (not QUITE an apology....) earlier this week was classic!! The moral of this story is simple: 1. This is Britain. The weather for the day will be whatever you see out of the window each morning with allowances for change. 2. Mother Nature is always smarter than us!!! Have a great time at Dumpledale anyway.... an holiday is always good, whatever the weather.

Just to remind one and all that 'Lord Jasper of Leicestershire' was a former resident of Hathern rescue aka College Garth. The troops there are really great and a bit of support never goes astray. Last year we got a tad damp as the sunshine was liquid so let's hope for a Mediteranian day and grand greyhound turnout. It was Lulu's first day out with us all and a benchmark moment in her introduction to the world of life with jasper ;D The day is on our calender so let's hope nothing crops up to spoil plans

I like your 'morals' Amanda - very true! ;D I am sure we will enjoy Dumpledale anyway - such a great dog friendly place and we shall go prepared with swim suits AND welllies!!!!! ;D (hopefully not worn at the same time though! )

Now you be careful, Bren!! You start promising Les the "swim suits AND wellies" thing when he's on holiday and he's likely to have an heart attack!!!!

@ Amanda! We did do the swimsuits and wellies, but alas not at the same time! ;D we had mostly good weather and had a fab holiday. Miss Poppy LOVED the beach and went in the sea too and tried to drink the sea water! Rudy was able to have a good off lead run in the fields surrounding Dumpledale. All dogs tired and happy.

Lovely photos Tracy.had a brill if very hot day.All the dogs were stars and little Molly was hilarious, she is convinced she's a Hound , can't stand small dogs and turned her back on Jills gorgeous Spaniel puppy , choosing to hang out with the big dogs. ;D ;D Quite a few rosettes were won, Suggs didn't win one but I was so proud of how he coped with the day, even lying down and relaxing.Tia got her very first rosette for 8th place ;D not bad considering there were over 30 in the class. As for Skye , brilliant he stands and shows brilliantly.Roll on the next one.
