Lovely walk today! Bit hillier than I was expecting but Quinn seemed to enjoy it. Xander is limping quite badly now though so maybe a shorter route for the little man next time! Amazing weather! And some absolutely beautiful new dogs! And I hope someone got a picture of Wilson, the amazingly massive horse!

A wonderful cool walk through the woods. Outwoods continues to improve as a walking venue and the entire perimeter walk is about a third plus longer than we did. Did Alison and a few hardy souls do another short loop today? Apols for no piccies but Lulu was another limping hound and the camera went back to the car with her early on. Nice to meet WL Walk worthies and new faces alike and as always hope there is nothing stopping us turning up next month. Hi from us all in sunny Quorn R&M & Jasper & Lulu

Thanks Richard, I argued with Dave we'd done a longer walk there in the past. ;D ;D I believe a few including Alison did a longer walk second time around.I was going with them but Dave wanted to get back to finish the pond. Hence my two not as' cream crackered' as usual after a walk, so may well be up for a 6a.m. walk in the morning.

Alison, myself, Jackie and Gary (new to WL walks) did another circuit. We took a slightly different route and didn't get back to the cars until about 4.45, so I now have some very cream crackered dogs! It was lovely to talk to friends old and new and to also show off little Izzy, who took everything in her stride (apart from posing for photos that is! ) and thoroughly enjoyed her walks. ;D Can't wait to see the piccies

Lovely walk, wwe could of done with the extra long walk too as my lot weren't tired. However, Poppy is used to running around and ususally does 3 times as much as everyone else anyway!! Great weather and nice to catch up with people.

I hope she knows her babies are all safe.

I was dreading a repeat of last Sunday’s weather (how bad was that? ) but we were lucky yet again and the sun shone for the June walk. The biggest turnout for a long time and wasn’t it fun? Nice as always to catch up with regulars and so good to see the most recently rehomed hounds enjoying life with their new families too A few random snapshots from the afternoon: Hooch, Oscar and KylieJohnnyA big kiss for darling Chewie Issy (very camera-shy but caught here clocking a squirrel and forgetting herself ) I didn’t get the customary “mugging for treats” shot (with all the usual suspects – i.e. Sol, Buddy and Caleb) but Fleur did it in such unique polite gentle style. One smart lady who is learning very quickly! Phil, Claire, Buddy, Lola, Whistler and OzzyBob’s debut and he enjoyed both canine and human company so much, bless him. He’s such a good boy even when faced with boisterous off-lead small dogs. Currently seeking a home and so perfect. Jojo suspects that he may even be cat-friendly! ;D Lulu and Twiggy Cool dude Dukie with his folks on their first White Lodge walk Rachel and PoppyLittle Issy giving Jake a dental check (she did his ears too – PM me if you want the pic Dog Rescue Lover, it’s very cute) Tegan and Quinn Walk Part II – the second half-circuit: I’m not sure how long we spent dawdling and shooting the breeze but guessing from the length of the shadows we must’ve been quite late back! Sarah, Annie, Ruby, Issy and MortimerSol, Gary, Jackie, Jake with Sarah and Gang A big thank you to everyone for such great company and hopefully we’ll meet up again at Ratby Burroughs on the 12th of July.

Please could you let me have a link or email me the three Izzy photos ....... Of course I can did the pic of honey not come out very well then Sorry Becca, there was thunder in the air all evening while I was trying to upload the photos and the broadband connection kept cutting out. All the message board would show me were little red crosses where the photos should've been so I couldn't check my post. Hope I’ve not missed anyone else

As always Alison, magic piccies. The Izzy pic is one of your best ever. I was significantly impressed with how Honey and 'one of the Babies' behaved with the 'sprogs'. Lulu we knew would be great with kids but so many of the WL clan are so kiddophilic it is testement to their rehoming and the folks that now share their homes with them. On Saturday, the Community Officer was amazed how patient Jasper & Lulu were while being adored by a couple of random kids we met in the car park. The joys of a longdog ;D
See you all soon

[Brenda, I couldn't believe how much Poppy looks like her poor Mum Sabrina, she has the same little turned up nose . I hope she knows her babies are all safe. I must admit I hadn't noticed the nose similarity Linda, but Poppy has lots of snowflakes like her mum. Poor Sabrina, I hope she knows her babies are safe and loved too. She did an amazing job with them in such awful conditions.
