Hi!!
Yes please, we still need duvets, fleece, anything with a zip like an old jacket or hoodie or sleeping bag. Also pieces of strong fabric like strong cotton or velvet or corduroy.
Kerry also is knitting coats for the hounds and would be very grateful for any donations of wool.
If you are going near WL you can leave items there or message me and we can arrange a time for collection. Thank you for thinking of us!!!
Amanda

I have a fleecy hoody that doesn't fit anymore with a short zip, and an old sleeping bag kicking around somewhere. Do you want old t-shirts to make blankets with as well as I have a LOT of those too.

Hi Amanda
I'm sure we have a couple of old duvets in the garage - I will look them out and give them to whoever does our home visit.

A BIG thank you from the woofers at WL to everyone who so generously donated fabric, duvets, clothing etc. Bob, Joe and Dukie had a fun time modelling on Sunday just before the walk and thanks to Terry and Gill for their help in getting the best out of our models!! (If a couple of the coats look rather large it's because Gill specially requested a couple of extra-large coats for the supersized hounds!!) Bob showing off a lovely walking out coat in green waterproof and blue fleece lining. Isn't he gorgeous? Bob is still looking for his forever home and would be perfect for someone with some hound experience who can tackle his slight dominance issues. He came with us and our two to the walk and, apart from enjoying the car a little TOO much, he behaved beautifully. Dukie is all warm for the winter in this green and beige fleece snuggle coat. Extra long to cover the hips of longer dogs or those with hock problems, it's ideal for indoors or outside on cold dry days. Can also be double-layered with a waterproof for REALLY cold walks!! Dukie was really excited about being out and enjoyed being on the walk. Thanks to Terry for his assistance. Handsome he-man Joe looks a TAD embarrassed about this little navy blue and bright-lined little number. More for the girls, I think. Joe had an amazing time on the walk, said "Hello" very politely to a few sheep and was beautifully behaved. His new family are very lucky to have this wonderful lad on their sofa! Once again, an HUGE thank you to everyone who donates fabric or items for the dogs. Maybe you spotted something that used to be your sweatshirt? I use as much as I possibly can in coats or beds or anything else that Gill asks for. If you have items to donate please let me know so I can arrange collection or leave them at WL and I will collect from there. Bob, Dukie, Joe and all the hounds thank you!!

Lovely coats modelled by lovely hounds. I'm thinking of getting a coat for Flynn.Although he has quite thick hair and is stocky I'm thinking more for rainy days as he gets very muddy and dirty being cream.Something more substantial than a rain coat but not too thick, do you have anything suitable Amanda? Also for Tia, she could do with a different everyday coat, she insists on lying on her back and wriggling around in the grass, the front part of the coat slips down and traps her front legs and she can't get up. Also when running she goes at such speed the velcro comes undone and she ends up getting all tangled up in her coat.I'm thinking maybe buckles to do it up and the front coming up higher towards her neck? Sorry Amanda nothings ever straight forward with Asbo ;D ;D Any ideas would be great, then I can choose materials , colours etc. yay.

Send me a PM with a brief description of the coats and we can talk colours and fabrics that we need to order then do a personal measure up of Flynn and Tia when we next see you so they fit perfectly.

We kind of have to wait for a really skinny/ill doggie to come in as pyjamas can't be made like coats, you can't just put any size on the dogs. They have to be the right size for the dog otherwise they wee on it and step on the ends (which is quite hilarious at first when they don't understand why they can't walk but is probably really annoying for them ). But we have patterns and some fabric ready for when a skinny minnie or sicky dog comes in!

Thanks Tegan, I was thinking of PJ's for our 3 for those cold winter nights. I had a look on the website and it said 'coming soon'! x

Hi Brenda!
I must elbow Tegan more frequently until she updates things!!
I have the patterns now so have a think about colours (it would be a medium weight cotton jersey so a wide range of colours!) and I'll get T to do a little template for you to measure the terrible threesome.
Hugs and woofs to them all!!
